HAROLD HUGHES

The Internal Affairs Division of the Sheriff’s Office handles any investigation of complaints involving conduct of personnel of the Sheriff’s Office, as well as pre-employment interviews of department applicants.

Internal Affairs is headed by Harold Hughes, a retired FBI agent who has more than 50 years experience in law enforcement including 25 with the Sheriff's Office, 25 with the FBI and two years with the Columbus, MS., Police Department.
