Sheriff Jack A. Stephens welcomes you to your new St. Bernard sheriff’s Web site.

We hope you will find it informative, easy to use and visually attractive.

The site is designed with several functions in mind. It will give readers both breaking news and feature articles and photos about the men and women of the Sheriff’s Office, who are devoted to the suppression of crime in this parish and to helping residents, especially our young people.

The site will also provide highlighted mention of upcoming events involving the Sheriff’s Office that we believe are important to the public.

There is also basic information about each department and how to contact the Sheriff’s Office or the nonprofit group Crimestoppers to provide tips to solve crimes.

The site allows users to print employment applications and forms for obtaining occupational licenses and permits from the Sheriff’s Office.
